Employment Standards and Pay Transparency – Where Do We Stand Come January 1, 2019? With a new Provincial government in place in mid-2018, there was much uncertainty around what employment-related legislation would look like going forward. In this session, Sara Maenhaut from North Star HR Solutions will provide an update on Bill 148; specifically, what Employment Standards are still in place and what changes are coming into effect on January 1, 2019 – this will include an update on the requirement to pay for on-call. Sara will also review the status of the Pay Transparency Act that was scheduled to come into effect on January 1, 2019. The webinar will be approximately 90 minutes.
